Amanda McDonough, Principal
Mrs. Amanda McDonough
Dear Caesar Rodney Countywide Program Students, Families, Staff and Community,
As the proud principal for The Caesar Rodney Countywide Programs, it is my honor to welcome the staff and students to the 2023-2024 school year. My first year with CRCWP was filled with many classroom, vocational and momentous experiences, such as graduation and moving up ceremonies. I am a proud Rider and have enjoyed becoming a part of the Caesar Rodney Rider Family.
As the CRCWP principal, I am committed to ensuring that the long-standing traditions of providing excellent education and high quality transition opportunities for our students, families and staff. I consider myself a champion for inclusion and have a unique passion for those students who have the greatest needs.
Habit number two from Stephen Covey's book 7 Habits of Highly Successful People states, "Begin with the end in mind." Here at CRCWP we work everyday to prepare our students for the next phase, adulthood, and all that brings with it. Whether through employment development training or independent living skills, our goal is to support our students toward as much independence as possible.
Not only do the staff at CRCWP teach the whole child, we do so with a vision of what lies ahead in the future for our students. We believe that the skills we teach in preschool, elementary, middle and high school are integral in preparing our students for a fulfilling and productive adult life. We also believe that our families and community are integral members of ensuring these outcomes.
Together, we are #CRCWPstrong.
Thank You,
Amanda McDonough
